Through communication! 

Initially a discussion about what the student is struggling with, their learning background, and an in-person assessment provides ample information to create a plan of action.

Session lengths depend on student needs and schedules. Generally, younger children do best with half an hour at a time, while those who are behind generally need up to an hour two to three times a week.

In addition to tutoring/providing lessons, I have helped parents set up curriculum and schedule I coach parents through their tasks as teachers and train kids how to be learners.

  1. An initial meeting in person or virtually to establish goals, complete a writing sample, and outline what the student will write.
  2. Connect writing through Google Docs or Word.
  3. Meet to discuss editing points.
  4. Revise and Review via online document sharing.
  5. Meet to conclude.

Tutoring can be in person or virtually using Zoom, Google Meet, etc. 

Currently, sessions are conducted at local libraries and coffee shops.

Yes. Currently on an individual basis, dependent on the results needed, and especially for writing students.
