As a tutor, I appreciate the opportunity to help a student discover their own unique abilities and learning styles. I believe the most important aspect of my job while working with someone is encouragement and guidance.

As a learner, I like ask a lot of questions and seem to always want to know more about something. Naturally, I pass that on to my students and make sure they are sharing their understanding of words and concepts and noticing when they are confused.  

As a writer, I enjoy words and how they can be used in a variety of ways, which means that students usually find out more about a word than they expected.
